Kitchen Cabinet Installation and Glazing Process

Once all the demolition has been completed, we begin the construction phase. This is a very exciting phase as elements of the project start coming to life and start to show what the end product will look like. One of the main areas touched in this project, is the kitchen.
We worked extensively with the client and our cabinet maker in the color for the kitchen island. We decided to with a custom paint and glazing process to create a very custom look that reflects the client. The process starts by painting the cabinetry with a custom paint and then our cabinet maker following it a glazing technique. The technique consits of completely coating the cabinet in a stain-like glaze, which is then wiped away by hand. The result leaves a very custom look and new finish to the cabinet. In addition, we selected a Sherwin Williams Urban Bronze paint and added a Coffee glaze to bring out more character and further complete the custom look.
