Floor Plans and Demolition

Proposed Floor Plan

Existing Floor Plan

With the Feasibility Study complete and the existing measurements have been recorded, our home designer Ben Johnson, creates floor plans of the existing space and proposed spaces.

For this project, the main focus is on the Living Rooms, Kitchen, Study and Master Suite. In the Living Room next to the Foyer, walls are going to be filled in, the Kitchen will get a full face-life from cabinets, appliances and adding an island. We will be converting the other Living room into the Master Bedroom, turning the Master Bathroom into a larger Master closet, and creating a larger Master Bathroom from the existing Bedroom.

After the floor plans have been approved, the demolition phase begins. For this project it includes tearing down walls, cabinetry and appliances. One of the biggest keys during this phase is communication. A lot of times, when we begin demoing and gutting a house, we uncover issues that require the entire team to be on the same page. This is to ensure any obstacles that may come up are dealt with immediately to keep the project progressing smoothly.
